Joshua Myers, PA-C, specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal trauma for patients of all ages at TidalHealth Peninsula Orthopaedic Institute. He cares for patients in both acute care and outpatient settings, supporting them from initial evaluation through surgical management and recovery.
As the longest-serving orthopedic trauma PA working under the supervision of Dr. Huber, Joshua brings extensive experience and clinical expertise to each patient’s care. He believes it is important for patients to feel truly heard so their needs can be understood and addressed.
Care philosophy
Joshua Myers, PA-C, believes the strength of orthopedic trauma care comes from collaboration. Orthopedic trauma often involves more than one injury and more than one provider, which is why he works closely with the surgical team, nurses, therapists and outpatient care teams to help ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Joshua works closely with each patient with the goal of helping them return to the life they had before their injury. His focus is not only on healing the fracture or injury, but also on restoring function, mobility and confidence. Throughout the care journey, he is committed to making sure patients feel informed, heard, at ease and supported.
Outside of His Work
Outside of work, Josh enjoys traveling with his spouse to their recently built home in the Philippines. He also enjoys playing pickleball and ping pong, as well as taking ski trips.
