Leland Thomas, PT, DPT, CMTPT/DN, is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist who helps patients return to the activities that matter most to them. He has extensive experience treating orthopedic injuries, postoperative conditions and sports-related injuries using personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s goals.
Dr. Thomas believes successful rehabilitation involves more than reducing pain. It also means helping patients understand their condition, build confidence in movement and develop the tools needed to maintain their progress over time.
Known for his approachable, down-to-earth communication style and hands-on treatment approach, Dr. Thomas creates a supportive environment where patients feel heard, informed and actively involved in their recovery.
Care philosophy
Dr. Thomas believes successful rehabilitation begins with listening, education and a strong partnership between the patient and therapist. He takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, lifestyle and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan.
His goal is to help patients improve function, regain confidence and return to the activities they enjoy most. Throughout rehabilitation, he provides the guidance, encouragement and practical strategies patients need to feel empowered and achieve lasting results.
Outside of his work
Outside of work, Leland enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. On weekends, he can often be found working on his barbecue skills and jokingly refers to himself as a “pit master in training.”
