Paul Harriott

Paul Harriott, MD, MEng, MBA, cares for patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions at TidalHealth Peninsula Orthopaedic Institute. He provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for injuries and disorders affecting the musculoskeletal system, with expertise in shoulder and knee arthroscopy, joint replacement, fracture care and hand surgery.

Dr. Harriott takes time to thoroughly evaluate each patient’s condition, clearly explain the diagnosis and discuss appropriate nonsurgical and surgical treatment options. His goal is to develop an individualized care plan that relieves pain, restores function and helps patients return to the activities they enjoy with confidence.

Care philosophy

Dr. Harriott believes in providing personalized, patient-centered care through a collaborative approach. He explores both conservative and surgical treatment options to determine the best path forward for each patient.

By educating patients about their condition and involving them in every step of the decision-making process, Dr. Harriott helps them feel confident in their treatment plan. He strives to ensure every patient feels heard, informed and supported from the initial visit through recovery. 

Outside of his work

Outside of work, Dr. Harriott enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, windsurfing and restoring sports cars.
