Sarah Conroy, PA-C, cares for patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions at TidalHealth Peninsula Orthopaedic Institute. Her interest in orthopedics grew from her love of anatomy and her own experiences recovering from athletic injuries.
Conroy supports patients throughout the full course of care, from the initial evaluation and treatment through recovery. She works closely with the orthopedic team to diagnose and treat injuries and conditions, reduce pain, restore mobility and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected and genuinely cared for. Her goal is to provide each patient with the same level of attention and compassion she would want for her own family.
Care philosophy
Conroy believes exceptional orthopedic care begins with teamwork. She collaborates with physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to provide coordinated, high-quality treatment tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
She also believes patients should be active partners in their care. Conroy takes time to listen to their concerns, explain their condition and treatment options, and support them throughout the recovery process.
Her goal is to help patients regain function, reduce pain and return to meaningful activities while ensuring they feel informed, respected, comfortable and confident in their care plan.
Outside of her work
Before becoming an orthopedic physician assistant, Conroy worked as an emergency medical technician. That experience strengthened her passion for helping people through difficult and often stressful situations.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and playing sports. Her athletic background gives her a personal appreciation for movement, injury prevention and recovery.
