Dr. McGovern has published research in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to textbook chapters and presented at national meetings for more than two decades. His work has addressed minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal deformity, cervical and lumbar spine evaluation, spinal tumors, bone healing and postoperative outcomes.
He has also served as national course faculty and provided hands-on education to orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons in advanced minimally invasive spine surgery techniques.
