If you and your partner are expecting, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by fear of the unknown. Studies have shown that being educated in the birth process can reduce the amount of stress in labor. Many new parents find that education through birth classes helps calm their worries and answers many questions.

Meet other expectant parents in this course that includes information about prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, infant safety, and newborn care. You will learn what to expect during labor and birth, different breathing techniques, relaxation skills, and other helpful comfort measures to use, whether you are planning a medicated or non-medicated birth.

This 8-hour series includes a tour of TidalHealth Peninsula Regional as well. Attend our 4-week series or select the individual classes that best fit your learning needs!
