Our labor and delivery rooms are designed so you can labor, deliver and recover in one comfortable space, with loved ones close by. We encourage bonding with your newborn by supporting skin-to-skin contact immediately after birth and throughout your stay. When possible, we also offer mothers the option to have their baby remain in the room, helping foster strong connections from the start.
Once you and your baby are stable, you will transition to a peaceful postpartum unit where you can continue bonding and adjust to life with your newborn. Our team remains by your side during this special time, offering guidance, support and resources tailored to your needs.
Education and preparation are essential parts of our care. TidalHealth offers childbirth education, newborn care and breastfeeding support to help you feel informed and confident. Our goal is to give your baby the best possible start while ensuring you have access to the information and support you need at every stage.
