Today we recognize National Women Physicians Day, honoring the lasting impact of women physicians on healthcare and the communities they serve.
The day marks the birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to earn a medical degree in the United States, and celebrates generations of women who continue to advance medicine through leadership, innovation and compassionate care.
