As we celebrate the launch of TidalHealth Atlantic, we’re highlighting the team members who make our mission possible every day. Their stories are shaping this new chapter in TidalHealth’s history and helping drive positive change in the communities we serve.
Today, we recognize Jill Stone, PT, MPT, senior director of physical medicine and rehabilitation and respiratory care services at TidalHealth. She was nominated by Clara Dewey for her energy and leadership during TidalHealth Nanticoke’s transition into the health system.
Stone leads Tidalhealth’s diverse clinical teams that provide physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory care, pulmonary function testing, EMG, EEG, and the ALS clinic.
Stone keeps her team motivated by leading through example, maintaining high personal standards, and encouraging team members to treat every patient as they would a loved one. She works to recognize team achievements, build meaningful connections, and communicate clearly so every team member understands the mission and feels valued.
One of Stone’s most significant contributions is her work on TidalHealth's Breast Cancer Awareness Committee, which she co‑founded with Dr. Kathryn Fiddler. As a breast cancer survivor, she has helped raise awareness, educate team members about preventive screenings, and support TidalHealth's Drive for Mobile Mammography — a grassroots effort that began with team member giving. She is proud of the committee’s impact throughout the health system and the broader community.
Stone’s dedication reflects the spirit of TidalHealth Atlantic — a commitment to compassionate care, teamwork and community impact. Her leadership and service remind us that our strength comes from the people who show up every day with purpose and heart. As we begin this new chapter, leaders like Stone continue to move our mission forward and inspire others to do the same.
