Today, we recognize Kayla Drury, certified medical assistant at TidalHealth Primary Care in Berlin. She was nominated by Kathleen Morris for her dedication, professionalism, kindness, respect and genuine compassion for her patients and team.
For the past five years, Drury has supported both clinical and administrative tasks, including rooming patients, updating medical records, taking vital signs, performing point-of-care testing, and completing prior authorizations for medications. She is dedicated to supporting practitioners and ensuring that patients receive timely, high-quality care.
Drury keeps her team motivated by staying positive and being available whenever they need assistance. She says she feels fortunate to work with a group that collaborates well and steps in wherever help is needed.
Drury comes to work each day with the goal of making a difference in the lives of her patients. She strives to ensure every patient she encounters feels welcomed, heard, and confident that the team is there to support their needs.
