Jennifer Hazzard, PA-C, ATC, cares for patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions at TidalHealth Peninsula Orthopaedic Institute. She evaluates and treats fractures, sprains, arthritis, sports injuries, tendon and ligament disorders, overuse injuries and other orthopedic conditions.
Hazzard helps patients manage pain, recover from injuries, restore mobility and return to the activities that matter most to them. She also provides fracture care, coordinates rehabilitation and guides patients through surgical and nonsurgical treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their care.
Care philosophy
Hazzard is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered orthopedic care. She takes time to listen to each patient’s concerns, clearly explain their diagnosis and treatment options, and develop an individualized care plan based on their needs and goals.
Her background as an athletic trainer working with high-level athletes gives her a unique perspective on injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance. She combines that experience with her orthopedic training to help patients of all ages and activity levels recover, restore function and safely return to daily life, work or sports.
Hazzard works closely with each patient to ensure they feel heard, informed, respected and supported throughout their care journey. Her goal is to help patients feel confident in their treatment plan while working toward the best possible functional outcome.
Outside of her work
Outside of work, Hazzard enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and attending her children’s sporting events.
