Lucas Allmon

Luc Allmon, DSc, PA-C, cares for patients of all ages with a full range of orthopedic conditions at TidalHealth Peninsula Orthopaedic Institute, seeing patients in Lewes, Millsboro, Milford and Seaford. He specializes in full-spectrum orthopedics, including hip and knee replacement care, and offers ultrasound-guided injections to support accuracy and pain relief.

Luc uses an anatomy-based approach to patient care. By understanding how nerves, muscles, bones and surrounding structures work together, he can better identify the source of a patient’s concern and develop a clear, effective treatment plan. 

Care philosophy

Luc Allmon, DSc, PA-C, believes every patient should leave their visit with a clear understanding of their condition and treatment plan. He follows three guiding principles in patient care: make sure patients know what he believes is causing their symptoms, ensure they understand and agree with the plan moving forward, and treat every patient as if they were a member of his own family.

Luc works closely with patients to make sure they feel informed, respected, heard and comforted throughout their care journey. 

Outside of His Work

Outside of work, Luc reflects on the experiences that shaped his path to orthopedics. After retiring from the U.S. Army — first as an enlisted airborne infantry medic and later as a physician assistant — he found a strong connection to orthopedic care because it simply made sense to him.
