About Sonia

Sonica Patel, MD, specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine, caring for patients with chronic lung conditions like asthma, COPD, infections, and persistent coughs, to help them breathe easier and navigate everyday life. In the intensive care unit, she cares for critically ill patients facing medical emergencies and multi-organ failure, standing right by their side and supporting their families through life's most vulnerable moments.

Dr. Patel chose pulmonary medicine because she understands how vital the lungs are to how you feel in your day-to-day life. She is committed to making complex medical conditions easy to understand for her patients so they can make decisions together as a true team. Her goal is for patients to always feel genuinely cared for, completely supported, and confident that they are in good hands every step of the way.
