Yousuf Ahmad, FNP-BC, a Wicomico County native, Ahmad earned his Master of Science in Nursing from George Washington University after graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Salisbury University.
Ahmad is a certified family nurse practitioner with additional certifications in Stroke Care (NIH), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. He is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, previously served as an interim board member for the Nurse Practitioner Association of Washington, D.C., and was nominated as “Best Family Doctor” in Salisbury in 2024.
He enjoys supporting the community he grew up in and has a special interest in the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. He is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
