First Fill Pharmacy Services
Our team provides the convenience of up to a 30-day first fill of your prescribed medications before you leave the hospital. We help you get your initial medications on the spot, make sure your prescriptions are correct, and include clear instructions for use. We accept most insurance plans and, if needed, can help transfer remaining prescription refills to your preferred pharmacy. If you don’t have a regular pharmacy, we can recommend local options.
Our hospital-based pharmacies are mainly for these first fills and are not intended for ongoing community refills. However, we offer a community pharmacy for ongoing needs, free delivery, and a convenient drive-thru for pickup.
Support with Medication Education
All prescriptions filled at TidalHealth pharmacies include access to the Meds on Cue program. By scanning a QR code with your smartphone, you can view detailed information about your medications, identify your pills, and watch videos explaining potential side effects and other important details. This extra layer of support helps you understand your treatment and manage your health safely from home.
