In the coming days, our organization will reach an important milestone as we launch several major initiatives that will shape the future of how we serve our patients and strengthen care across our region.
We are preparing for the go-live of Epic, our new electronic medical record, the transition of Atlantic General Hospital to TidalHealth Atlantic, the launch of TidalHealth Community Pharmacy and the transition of Your Doc’s In to TidalHealth Urgent Care.
These changes represent more than new names or new systems. Together, they reflect the continued growth of our health system and our steadfast commitment to creating a more connected, coordinated and patient-centered experience across every care setting.
The implementation of Epic will give our teams a more advanced platform to better connect care across hospitals, physician offices, urgent care and pharmacy services. It will strengthen communication, improve access to information and support safer, more seamless care for the patients and families who rely on us.
The launch of TidalHealth Atlantic marks an important new chapter in our work to expand access and bring more coordinated care to the communities we serve. By aligning under one trusted brand, we are creating greater clarity for patients and a stronger sense of connection across our system.
At the same time, TidalHealth Community Pharmacy will bring together pharmacy services under one unified identity, making it easier for patients to access the prescription support they need with the convenience and personalized service they expect.
The transition to TidalHealth Urgent Care will also make it easier for patients to recognize where to go for convenient, walk-in care while reinforcing the strength of the larger TidalHealth network behind those services.
We know that change of this scale requires tremendous effort, flexibility and teamwork. Thank you for all you are doing to prepare for this transition. Your hard work behind the scenes is what makes progress like this possible.
As we approach this launch, please know that every step we are taking is rooted in one goal: to better serve our team, our patients and the greater community. We are building a stronger, more connected system — and that work will have a lasting impact.
