Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation helps you recover, improve heart health and build strength through supervised exercise, education and support from specially trained cardiac nurses.

Cardiac rehabilitation at TidalHealth is designed to help people who have experienced heart-related events or treatments regain strength, confidence, and a healthier lifestyle. Our program supports you every step of the way with specially trained cardiac nurses who guide sessions focused on improving cardiovascular function and helping you make lasting, positive changes.

Each rehabilitation session offers:

  • Support and education about heart health
  • An exercise program tailored to your needs
  • Guidance for building healthier habits
  • A chance to connect with others who have had similar experiences

You may be eligible for cardiac rehabilitation if you have had any of the following:

  • Heart attack
  • Bypass surgery
  • Angioplasty or stent placement
  • Angina (chest pain or pressure)
  • Repair or replacement of a heart valve
  • Heart transplant
  • Heart failure

The program includes a conditioning phase known as Phase II. Sessions are scheduled throughout the week. During your orientation, you will learn which session is right for you. If needed, our team can help with the referral process from your physician.
