Patrick Donaghue, MD, provides surgical and nonsurgical care to patients with foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries, arthritis, deformity correction, and fracture care. He helps patients at every activity level regain pain-free mobility and return to daily life. Dr. Donaghue is committed to a straightforward, patient-first approach: explaining the problem clearly, laying out every option honestly, and recommending surgery only when it's truly the best path forward. He prioritizes techniques that preserve motion and speed recovery, so patients can get back to what matters to them.
As the area's only fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Donaghue brings subspecialty expertise typically found at major academic centers to the local community, including total ankle replacement and minimally invasive techniques. Patients no longer need to travel for advanced foot and ankle care, and Dr. Donaghue makes sure they feel informed, respected, comforted, and at ease throughout their care journey.
Outside of work, Dr. Donaghue can be found at the beach with his family, fishing or catching a Philadelphia sports game. He and his partner recently relocated to the Lewes area with their two young children and are excited to put down roots in the community.
