The TidalHealth Anesthesiology Residency Program participates annually in the National Resident Matching Program (the Match). For US Medical School graduates:
- Either enrolled medical student anticipating graduation by the June after Match Day,
- Or graduated from medical school within the last 4 years
- No more than 2 attempts required to pass any course or rotation during medical school
- No more than 2 attempts required to pass any portion of the USMLE or COMLEX
For International Medical graduates (IMGs):
- Successful completion of medical education from an accredited medical school
- Certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)
- Documentation of United States citizenship, permanent residency, or lawful status
- Clinical experience of working in the United States is preferred
- Research and scholarly activities will be considered favorably
- USMLE CK scores >220 and passing on the first attempt is preferred
- Graduation from medical school within the last 3 years is preferred
