Urgent care provides timely treatment for illnesses or injuries that need attention soon but are not emergencies.
When should I visit urgent care instead of the emergency department?
Choose urgent care for conditions that can’t wait for a regular appointment but are not severe enough for the emergency department. True emergencies — such as chest pain or difficulty breathing — require a call to 911.
Will I see a doctor at urgent care?
Yes, care is provided by skilled professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Do I need an appointment?
No — walk in anytime, or use online check-in at participating locations to hold your spot.
