We're live spotlight: Stacey Lowe

As we celebrate the launch of TidalHealth Atlantic, we’re highlighting the team members who make our mission possible every day. Their stories are shaping this new chapter in TidalHealth’s history and helping drive positive change in the communities we serve.

Today we recognize Stacey Lowe, emergency registration coordinator at TidalHealth Nanticoke. She was nominated by Toni Taylor for her professionalism, her willingness to answer questions and step in whenever needed, and her commitment to ensuring the department meets expectations in the best interest of its patients.

In her role, Lowe helps maintain the professionalism of the emergency department (ED) registration team. She strives to be a positive role model, supporting colleagues with issues that arise in the ED and building strong relationships with clinical and environmental services teams. She says she views the department as one unified team working together like a well‑tuned machine.

Lowe describes herself as caring, helpful, empathetic and generous. She checks in on team members who aren’t feeling well, offers encouragement after long shifts, and steps in if someone feels unsafe entering a room. Even when her shift ends, she stays to help during heavy arrivals, listens without judgment, and walks coworkers to their vehicles at night. She considers her faith, strength, compassion and dedication to be her “superpower.”

Lowe says her greatest impact came in an unexpected moment — when she suffered a massive heart attack at work. Witnessing her colleagues’ teamwork as they rushed to care for her helped reinforce the department’s unity. When she returned, she felt the team had grown even closer, reminding her that progress often comes in small, meaningful steps.

Lowe’s commitment to her patients and team reflects the heart of TidalHealth — a culture built on service, resilience and genuine care for one another. Her example shows how everyday acts of kindness and teamwork can strengthen a department and lift those around her, even in the most challenging moments. As we move into this new chapter, team members like Lowe continue to inspire progress, unity and compassion throughout the health system.
