Alternative to magnesium citrate for patients of TidalHealth Gastroenterology in Salisbury
Please note this is for all procedures, except flexible sigmoidoscopy and lower EUS
If you are unable to find magnesium citrate at the pharmacy, our gastroenterologists recommend taking Dulcolax 5 mg, one tablet every evening for three (3 )evenings prior to your procedure.
If you take pain medication on a regular basis or you have a history of chronic constipation, please take Dulcolax 10 mg every evening for three (3) evenings prior to your procedure.
