TidalHealth Peninsula Regional honors the following four team members as 4th Quarter 2022 Team Members of the Quarter:
Administrative & Support Services: Demetris “D” Bennett, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Demetris Bennett of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 4th Quarter 2022 Team Member of the Quarter for Administrative and Support Services.
Demetris has been with Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for 23 years and has made a tremendous impact on the team and its patients. He performs all duties with the biggest smile and a positive attitude, which remains for the duration of each day. He connects with patients in a way that puts their minds at ease and can get even the most complex patients to feel more comfortable working with therapy. Patients look forward to his kind and caring personality and often ask for him by name.
Professional Services: Samantha Dykes, Home Scripts
Samantha Dykes, a pharmacist with TidalHealth Home Scripts, is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 4th Quarter 2022 Team Member of the Quarter for Professional Services.
Samantha is always seen with a smile on her face and is willing to go above and beyond regardless of the sacrifice she must make. She dedicates 100% to her patients and is always willing to do the extra "little things" that add up to greatness in the end. She was recently recognized for going above and beyond for a patient in the hour before closing time the day before Thanksgiving, even though it meant she’d need to work longer after closing. She embodies the true meaning of selflessness within the pharmacy profession.
Nursing Services: Lindsay O’Hara, Endoscopy
Lindsay O’Hara of Endoscopy is a TidalHealth Peninsula Regional 4th Quarter 2022 Team Member of the Quarter for Nursing Services.
Lindsay is a huge asset to Endoscopy. She has quickly become a mentor to many with her excellent assessment skills, clinical procedural knowledge, and overall clinical judgment. Physicians call her daily to ask her opinion and get her feedback on situations. She also stands up for staff and communicates any issues to the physicians. When Lindsay is in charge, you can count on the day running smoothly and the atmosphere remaining calm.
Nursing Services: Tammy White, Tele Central
Tammy White of Tele Central is a TidalHealth Peninsula Regional 4th Quarter 2022 Team Member of the Quarter for Nursing Services.
Tammy was recognized for a special project she worked on for our Special Care Nursery. She is dependable, conscientious, willing to assist where needed, and able to multi-task in a very busy environment. She has a strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and responds to patient changes or concerns appropriately and timely. She is a resource to the nursing staff as well as her peers. She often works additional shifts to ensure adequate staffing.
