If you are a resident or fellow currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. graduate medical education program, you may be eligible to rotate at TidalHealth during an elective rotation.

***TidalHealth is unable to sponsor Visas for visiting residents and fellows at this time.
Requesting a Rotation
- Submit a request on the TidalHealth Visiting Resident/Fellow Request form at least 90 days before the start of the desired rotation.
- A representative of TidalHealth Graduate Medical Education will respond to the email address provided with information regarding your requested rotation.
- While efforts will be made to accommodate your request, your requested rotation may not be available.
- Evaluation and documentation of the clinical rotation must be maintained by the sponsoring physician and provided to TidalHealth Graduate Medical Education for record keeping.
Required Documentation
- Letter from trainees’ current program on program letterhead to include:
- Verification of good standing with current program
- Written approval of clinical rotation from current program, naming specific rotation
- Exact dates of rotation from current program
- Verification of health/immunization status from current program (to also include COVID-19 and flu vaccines)
- Specific description of liability coverage (LOI) from the current sponsoring institution
- Completed TidalHealth Program Letter of Agreement (PLA) with rotation goals and objectives from the current program. This document will be provided upon rotation approval for completion.
- Background Check - within past 12 months
- 10 Panel Drug Screen – within past 12 months
- BLS card (American Heart Association)
- ID badge from current training program
- Driver’s License or State issued Identification
